Jesus Christ is always with the Father but when He ascended to heaven, He brought our humanity to be where the Father is, that is heaven! He brought us home, back to the bosom of the Father! He elevated us to be at the right hand of His Father, where He is! From that day of ascension till His Second Coming, all those who are in Christ Jesus are given a promise: To sit with Him on His throne where He is!! St. John the Beloved wrote down this promise: “To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with My Father on His throne.” (Rev. 3:21)
No other privilege or honour even comes anywhere close to this honour we have in Christ, that is to be where He is! Therefore, we ought to live a life that befits this unmatched privilege! Let us live a life that brings glory to our Heavenly Father! In order to do that, let us train our mind to be where He is, in heaven. Let us train our heart to be in heaven, for where our treasure is, there our heart will be also! Let us live a holy and heavenly life, that reflects our true place, our true home and our true residence: Heaven where He is! I want to invite you to say this prayer from your heart on a daily basis, “Father God, I thank you for granting me this unmatched privilege of being in Your presence as I abide in Your Son Jesus Christ my Saviour. Grant me and all Your children O Lord, to be where You are! Lift my mind and heart to heaven that I may give you the glory in all that I do and say today! Amen!
