“Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.”
2 Corinthians 13:5 NLT IS YOUR FAITH REAL?
The greatest threat on your eternal life is the attack on your faith! Christ Himself while on Earth spoke of the last days and said “When the Son of Man returns will He find FAITH on Earth?” Faith is about TRUSTING God and Jesus Christ as our God and ONLY SAVIOUR! Faith is about trusting and believing and hoping in that which we do not see YET experience in our daily life!
So examine and test yourself to see if “your faith is genuine!” Do you KNOW that Jesus Christ is indeed in you and among you? Do you live in His very presence perceiving Him in all the matters of your life? Let your daily prayer be similar to the disciples’ when they said to the Lord, “increase our faith!”
Lord grant me to always believe in you and to taste how amazing and sweet life is with you even in the midst of afflictions. Let me see you with the eyes of faith during my time of JOY and my time of PAIN! Lord, my God grant me the faith that moves mountains! Lord, my God increase my faith!
