EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO REASON FOR HOPE!! When all news point towards gloom! Where everyone is pessimistic and the odds are not in your favour! When all reason and logic indicate negative expectations! BY FAITH in GOD, we are filled with sure HOPE! Like Abraham, we KEEP hoping believing in God who said and PROMISED us “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” (Is. 41:10)
How do you receive the word promised by God to you? Do you really TRUST HIM? Do you have a connection with Him? Are you His friend, like Abraham? If not, then ASK the Lord for this relationship. Ask like a two-year-old child who insists and persists! Lord, Father, I long for the faith of Abraham! I want nothing less than to grow towards a perfect FAITH in you! Faith that leads to righteousness and one that awaits Your promise of LIFE even in the midst of a body “as good as dead”! Heavenly Father, hear this prayer for Faith, Hope, Patience and Perseverance! In Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen!
