“but he called out to them, “Don’t be afraid. I am here! ” Then they were eager to let him in the boat, and immediately they arrived at their destination!”
John 6:20-21 NLT
When we are going through any hardship or troubled times, many of us become EAGER to hearing God’s reassuring message and to LET HIM IN! Some even say, “we pray mainly when we are in trouble!” A student prays harder the night before a test. Even the Lord calls us to call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will rescue us!
Today’s message to us is to ALWAYS BE EAGER TO LET HIM IN OUR LIFE! When Jesus Christ is in our life, we won’t be afraid because “He is here”! He is not far from us! He is right here! Trust that when you ask him eagerly to come into your life that He is truly “here” with you! DON’T focus on the storm! Focus on the presence of Christ in the midst of the storm, walking on top of it and granting you to overcome it! Once you let Him in, IMMEDIATELY you will arrive at your DESTINATION!
Be EAGER:
- Look forward to PRAYING!
- Be quick to SERVING!
- Make haste to READ HIS WORD and apply it in your life!
Be eager is reflected in the verse that says “He who seeks me DILIGENTLY shall find Me!”
Lord Jesus Christ our God, if You see me struggling in the midst of a storm in life, I beg You to come to me and through Your Grace O Lord may I be so eager to let You in my boat so that with Your presence I maybe guided immediately to my destination! Amen!
